CLE ELUM, Wash. — UTSA senior Fabiola Arriaga is tied for 62nd place after the second round of the NCAA Women's Golf West Regional held Friday at Tumble Creek Club at Suncadia Resort (par 72/6,252 yards).
Arriaga carded a 78 on Friday and is in a seven-way tie for 62nd at 11-over-par 155 with 18 holes remaining on Friday. The Torreon, Mexico, native, who is competing in her school-record fourth straight NCAA postseason, posted a birdie four on the par-5 fourth to highlight her second round.
Kyung Kim of USC leads the 126-player field at 4-under 140 (66-74) and USC is tied with Arizona State for the team lead at 2-over 578.
The final round is scheduled for Saturday.
