SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will look to extend a three-game winning streak and qualify for next week's Conference USA Tournament when it hosts UAB in a three-game series to close the regular season this weekend at Roadrunner Field.
The Blazers (29-23, 13-7 C-USA) have assured themselves a spot in the C-USA Tournament, which will feature the league's top eight teams in a single-elimination format.
Meanwhile, the Roadrunners (23-28, 9-12 C-USA) currently reside in ninth place and will enter the weekend one game behind Marshall (23-30, 10-11 C-USA) and Southern Mississippi (22-28, 10-11 C-USA).
