SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will continue its six-match road trip this week when it faces Rice at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Jack Hess Tennis Stadium.
The Roadrunners (8-14) fell to No. 63 Tulane, 5-2, in their last outing on Sunday. Tomas Stillman picked up his fifth consecutive singles win to run his overall record a team-best 18-2 this spring.
Diogo Casa scored a 6-4, 3-6, 10-2 victory to improve his season ledger to 9-12 overall and 6-5 at No. 4 and the sophomore from Brazil has been victorious in four of his last five outings.
Rice (7-10) saw its season-best five-match winning streak come to an end last Tuesday after being swept by No. 12 Texas A&M. Tommy Bennett leads the team with 14 singles wins this season.
The Owls shut out the Roadrunners, 6-0, in the last meeting on April 3, 2013.
