SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will begin a four-game home stand on Tuesday night against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
It will mark the Roadrunners' second matchup of the spring with the Islanders (11-15). In the opening game of the Kleberg Bank College Classic back on Feb. 22, UTSA rode a 2-for-5 effort at the plate from freshman C.J. Pickering to pick up an 8-3 victory.
UTSA (16-8) has won the last three meetings and leads the all-time series, 28-21.
The Roadrunners (16-8) return home following last weekend's three-game series at Southern Mississippi. After the squads split the opening two games of the series, the Golden Eagles scored the series win with a 10-9 comeback victory on Sunday.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi comes to the Alamo City having won four of its past six outings, including a 11-3 triumph in Sunday's series finale against Southeastern Louisiana.
