SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will begin a nine-game home stand on Tuesday when Dallas Baptist comes to Roadrunner Field for a 3 p.m. contest.
It will be the first meeting between the former Western Athletic Conference foes since last season’s WAC Tournament Championship Game, which was won by UTSA, 11-4, on May 26. The Roadrunners (5-2) advanced to its third-ever NCAA Tournament with the win.
UTSA is coming off a 2-1 weekend at the Kleberg Bank College Classic in Corpus Christi where they registered wins against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and BYU before falling in Sunday's tournament finale to No. 19 TCU.
Meanwhile, Dallas Baptist (5-2) is looking to snap a two-game losing skid after beginning the season with five consecuitve wins.
The Roadrunners lead the all-time series with the Patriots, 8-7.
