SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men's tennis team will play a trio of road matches this weekend on the East Coast.
The Roadrunners (3-4) will face Conference USA foe East Carolina (9-3) at 12:30 p.m. (CT) on Friday at the ECU Tennis Complex.
UTSA then will make the short trip to Norfolk, Va., to play another league program, Old Dominion (6-2), at noon (CT) the following day.
The Birds will conclude their weekend trip against William & Mary (7-6), the alma mater of head coach Jeff Kader, at 9 a.m. (CT) on Sunday.
Kader was a three-time first-team All-Colonial Athletic Association honoree in singles play from 2003-05 and a second-team all-league doubles player as a senior for the Tribe.
UTSA is coming off a split last weekend in Birmingham, Ala. The Roadrunners upset No. 69 Samford, 4-3, on Friday night before dropping a 4-3 decision at UAB on Sunday.
