SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men’s and women’s golf teams participated in their annual golf outing with the First Tee of Greater San Antonio last Saturday at Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club.
UTSA golfers were paired up with First Tee students, ranging from ages 8-17, to share their knowledge and skills as they played nine holes together on the Live Oak course.
After two hours on the course, players joined together for refreshments and to socialize with the 30 First Tee students who participated in the event.
The First Tee of Greater San Antonio is a youth organization that provides educational programs to build character and life skills through the game of golf.
