IRVING — McKenzie Adams was named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth consecutive week, the league office announced on Monday.
Adams capped her regular season career in a Roadrunners uniform in memorable fashion with 50 kills in victories against East Carolina and Tulsa, which helped propel the Roadrunners to the C-USA Regular Season Championship.
The senior outside hitter averaged a team-high 7.14 kills and 7.86 points per set while recording a hitting percentage of .359. She also finished the weekend without a service error in 21 attempts.
It marks Adams' sixth C-USA Offensive Player of the Week Award this season and seventh weekly honor overall.
UTSA (21-7, 13-1 C-USA) will begin C-USA Tournament play at noon on Friday when it takes on the winner of Thursday’s first-round match between Southern Mississippi and UTEP.
