WACO — UTSA wrapped up its season with an 18th-place finish at Friday's NCAA South Central Regional.
Nathan Collier paced the Roadrunners with a 63rd-place performanc. The senior from Pottsboro circled the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course 10,000-meter trail in 32:21.2. It marked the second conseuctive outing that he led the team and third time overall this fall.
Other UTSA scorers included Javier Salas (83rd/32:57), Nolawie Teshome (33:17.8), Tony Jaramillo (103rd/33:34.6) and Saul Vasquez (121st/34:16.2), as the Roadrunners finished the postseason meet with 454 points.
Arkansas, led by individual winner Stanley Kebenei (29:41.3), edged Texas by three points for the team title and both squads advanced to the NCAA Championships.
