SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will continue its season on Saturday morning when it competes at the UIW Cardinals Invitational at Live Oak City Park.

The 8,000-meter race is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. and it will feature a majority of the South Texas cross country teams in the region, along with a few from outside the local area. The Roadrtunners will compete against fellow Division I schools Abilene Christian, Incarnate Word, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas State and Texas-Pan American.

Mike Medrano led UTSA for the third consecutive meet at last Friday's Notre Dame Invitational, as the junior from Mission covered the five-mile course in 27:12.8 and crossed the finish line in 93rd place. The Roadrunners finished 11th among the 15 Division I teams that competed in the gold division race with 490 points.
