SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will travel to Coastal Bend for a Monday matchup with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2-4). First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Dugan Wellness Center.
The Roadrunners (3-4) split four matches at last week's UTSA Classic. The Birds swept Lamar in the event's opener on Thursday and then dealt Loyola Marymount a four-set loss on Friday. Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year McKenzie Adams continued her torrid stretch to begin the season with three double-double performances, including 27 kills and 14 digs in the tournament finale against Texas A&M.
Monday will mark the first of two matches between the two teams this week. UTSA has won all 16 previous meetings, including a sweep in the last matchup on Oct. 19, 2011.
