Roadrunners to return to course at Saturday's Texas Lutheran Invitational

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will return to action on Saturday at the Texas Lutheran Invitational in Seguin.

The 5,000-meter race is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and the Roadrunners will compete against athletes from Incarnate Word, Prairie View A&M, Schreiner, Southwestern, Texas-Brownsville, Texas-Pan American and Texas A&M Kingsville.

Nathan Collier was victorious at last Saturday's Alamo City Opener, as the senior from Pottsboro covered the 6,000-meter Olmos Basin Park trail in 19:48.19.

Javier Salas placed third (19:53.88) in his Roadrunners debut, while Harvinder Singh (20:04.30), Daniel Belcik (20:25.22) and Ryan Elizalde (20:49.49) finished in sixth through eighth, respectively, to round out UTSA's lineup of runners.
