SEGUIN — UTSA saw five of its runners place in the top 10 and the Roadrunners cruised to their third consecutive Texas Lutheran Invitational title on Saturday.
Leading the way was the trio of Javier Salas (16:26.36), Nathan Collier (16:33.85) and Daniel Belcik (16:38.19), who finished fourth through sixth, respectively. Meanwhile, Joaquin Oretgon (16:46.90) and Harvinder Singh (16:59.94) rounded out the contigent of top 10 runners by placing ninth and 10th, respectively.
UTSA accounted for 20 points to easily outdistance Texas-Pan American (45) for the team crown, while Prairie View A&M was third with 74.
The Roadrunners will return to action on Friday, Sept. 20, when they host the Ricardo Romo UTSA Classic.
