SAN ANTONIO — UTSA announced Monday that it has added two future football games at Texas A&M. The Roadrunners will meet the Aggies at Kyle Field on Nov. 12, 2016, and again in College Station on Nov. 2, 2019.
"We are excited about the opportunity to play Texas A&M at Kyle Field, which has one of the best game atmospheres in college football," head coach Larry Coker. "We want to be competitive and the best we can be, and to do that, you have to play the best. A&M certainly is a great program in a great league, so this will be a challenge but one we are looking forward to."
Texas A&M went 11-2 overall last fall in its first season as a member of the Southeastern Conference and finished the year as the fifth-ranked team in the country.
UTSA, which officially will join Conference USA on July 1, kicks off its third season of play on Aug. 31 at New Mexico. The Roadrunners are coming off a 2012 campaign that saw them post an 8-4 overall record and 3-3 ledger in their first and only season as a member of the Western Athletic Conference.
