SAN ANTONIO — UTSA soccer and track & field student-athletes will begin preseason practices in August in their new facilities at the Park West Athletics Complex.
For the first time in its seven-year history, the soccer program will have its own practice and game facility with permanent stands that seat 1,000 fans. The Roadrunners soccer team will open its new stadium with an exhibition match against Incarnate Word on Aug. 16.
Meanwhile, plans are being made for the track & field program’s first meet in its new stadium during the spring.
There also will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open Park West later this summer.
