ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — UTSA will be the seventh seed at this week's Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tournament, the league office announced on Sunday evening.
The tournament will be played from Thursday-Sunday, April 25-27, at the Gates Tennis Center in Denver, Colo.
The Roadrunners (7-12, 2-6 WAC) will meet second-seeded San Jose State at 3 p.m. (CT) on Thursday in final quarterfinal of the opening day.
The two teams met on April 12 in Moscow, Idaho, with the then-No. 66 Spartans coming away with a 4-1 victory.
UTSA, which finished the regular season by winning two of its final three matches, advanced to the conference tournament for the second consecutive campaign under seventh-year head coach Erin Scott.
