FAIR OAKS RANCH — Abilene Christian upended UTSA, 6-1, on Sunday at Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club.
The third-ranked Wildcats (16-5) won two of the three doubles contests and five of the six singles matchups to cruise to the five-point victory.
The Roadrunners (5-7) earned their lone point in singles action after Irene Gandara Gonzalez collected a 6-3, 6-3 victory against Emily Conrad at the sixth position.
UTSA will return to action on Thursday, March 28, when it travels to Ruston, La., to play three Western Athletic Conference matches against Utah State, Denver and Louisiana Tech.
