SAn ANTONIO — UTSA will host its annual Dig Pink match on Thursday night against Southeastern Louisiana. The Roadrunners will raise money leading up to and during the 6:30 p.m. match to benefit the Side-Out Foundation.
As part of raising breast cancer awareness, UTSA will wear special pink jerseys. The program also will hold a silent auction throughout the match for an autographed volleyball with all proceeds benefitting the Side-Out Foundation.
UTSA Athletics will be selling Dig Pink T-shirts for $10 and there also will be a pledge sheet for every dig throughout the match. Susan G. Komen for the Cure will be on site to pass out ribbons and additional breast cancer information.
