Roadrunners wrap up tournament play on Saturday

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA wrapped up competition at the UTSA Invitational on Saturday.

Senior Pedro Zanotelli and sophomore Yannick Junger reached the doubles final, but the pair fell to Texas A&M's Alberto Bautista and Jackson Withrow, 8-5.

Juniors Martin Ayala and Tyler Brown dropped their semifinal match to Bautista and Withrow, 8-6.

In singles play, Ayala, Brown and Junger all were defeated in the quarterfinal round.

Sunday's final day of competition has been canceled due to team travel arrangements.

The Roadrunners will wrap up their fall season at the Wilson/ITA Regionals in College Station. The five-day tournament gets undereway on Oct. 20.
