CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Junior Ryan Dalton recently was named the No. 12 prospect in the Texas Collegiate League by Perfect Game.
Dalton, who started his summer campaign in the prestigious Cape Cod League with the Falmouth Commodores, joined the Victoria Generals midway through the season and immediately made an impact.
The Sugar Land native finished the year with a .288 batting average, 10 doubles, two triples, four home runs and 18 RBIs.
As a sophomore at UTSA last spring, Dalton posted team highs in home runs (10) and RBIs (49). He also hit .280 with seven doubles, three triples and three stolen bases while scoring 30 runs. He tied for the team high with three multi-home run contests.
