SAN ANTONIO — Senior-to-be Shannon Jungman used a final round 69 to vault to the top of the leaderboard and she won the TPC San Antonio Collegiate Tournament sponsored by the Texas Junior Golf Tour (TJGT) on Friday.
The field featured players from several area schools, including LSU, North Texas, St. Edward’s, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, Texas, Texas A&M and UT Tyler.
Playing on the TPC San Antonio Oaks Course, the Pflugerville native improved each round and finished with a 226 (83-74-69) to win the event by six strokes. Texas A&M’s Suzy Grunden placed second, while Wallis Spears of St. Edward’s finished third.
