SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men's tennis team returns to action on Saturday when it hosts St. Edward's at 10 a.m.
The Roadrunners (0-1) will be in search of their inaugural win under first-year head coach Jeff Kader after dropping the season opener to Laredo Community College, 5-2, last Saturday. Seniors Daniel Moreiras and Max Stratmann each picked up singles victories to lead UTSA in the three-point setback.
St. Edward's will be making its season debut against the Roadrunners. The Hilltoppers, a Division II school in the Heartland Conference, posted a 14-10 mark a year ago.
UTSA dropped a 4-3 decision to St. Edward's a year ago.
