SAN ANTONIO — Five members of the UTSA football team’s inauguralsigning class will participate in the Texas High School CoachesAssociation (THSCA) All-Star Game presented by Fuddruckers, which will be heldat 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, at the Alamodome. The game will betelevised on a tape-delayed basis by FOX Sports Southwest (check locallistings for air times).
All five Roadrunners who signed National Letters of Intent in Februarywill suit up for the South team.
Chris Dorsey, a defensive lineman fromAltair Rice, Nick Garza, a wide receiver from McAllen, David Glasco, arunning back from San Antonio Wagner, Kam Jones, a quarterback/athletefrom Edna, and Cody Rogers, a linebacker from San Antonio Brandeis allwill represent UTSA, giving the program the most players from oneschool on the South roster.
“What a fantastic opportunity for these young men to be able to play inthis all-star game,” head coach Larry Coker said. “This is one of themost prestigious all-star games high school seniors from the state ofTexas can play in, so we’re very proud to have five participating. Weknow they will represent UTSA very well on Tuesday night.”
NCAA rules do not allow UTSA to comment on players listed on theall-star rosters that did not sign in February or are not yet enrolledat the university.
