Bruna Spengler
FRISCO — Sophomore Bruna Spengler picked up first-team Southland Conference All-Academic honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.
A civil engineering major, Spengler maintains a team-best 3.83 grade-point average and is the program’s first-ever all-academic honoree.
The Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil, native appeared in nine tournaments this year, recorded the team's fifth-best stroke average at 79.09 and registered one top-10 finish. She posted a personal-best 222 and also established a career-low round with a 72 at The Challenge at Onion Creek on Nov. 3. Spengler’s top finish was a ninth-place performance at the Husky Invitational on April 6.
