FRISCO — Senior Jorge Delgado and junior Max Stratmann earned first-team All-Southland Conference honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Delgado was selected for his efforts at No. 6 singles this spring. The El Paso native leads UTSA with a 13 wins this season, including a 10-3 mark at the No. 6 spot. He also ranks first on the squad with four league victories at that same slot.
Meanwhile, Stratmann, an all-league performer in doubles the last two seasons, earned his certificate at No. 4 singles. The Bonn, Germany, native ranks third on the team with nine wins, with two of those coming in conference play.
The No. 2 seed Roadrunners (11-9) head down IH-37 to Corpus Christi for this weekend's Southland Conference Tournament where they will face third-seeded Nicholls (14-5) at noon on Saturday.
