Freshman Katie Bragg posted her second school record of the season last Saturday.
FRISCO — UTSA freshman Katie Bragg was named Southland Conference Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Bragg shattered the school record in the hammer for the second meet in a row and finished fourth at last weekend's Victor Lopez Invitational in Houston. The Peachtree City, Ga., native measured 163-5 to better her own mark of 159-11 set three weeks ago at the Trinity Open.
The Roadrunners currently have begun competition at the 83rd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and they also will be in action at Friday's Trinity Tigers Relays.
