Jones was efficient on the night going 8-of-14 from the floor and set personal best in free throws made and attempts going 10-for-14 en route to her 26-point performance. The Monroe, La., native has scored in double figures for the eighth straight game, including all seven conference contests.

The Runners then put the game away with a 19-4 run over the following six minutes to build their largest lead of the game at 27 (65-38). Jones and Wright contributed 14 of the 19 points netted during that span and UTSA cruised to the 19-point win.
UTSA trailed 3-0 within the first three minutes of the first half, but then the Roadrunners’ offense picked up the pace with a 21-4 run that stretched over the next seven minutes of the frame and would not look back. Jones highlighted the spurt with 12 of the 21 points scored by the Roadrunners.
