Roadrunners wrap up fall campaign at Baylor Intercollegiate

The UTSA men’s golf team registered a scorecard of 312-297-294=903 and wrapped up its fall season with a 12th-place outing at the Baylor Intercollegiate on Tuesday.

Freshman Mitchell Griffin, who was UTSA’s top finisher, posted scores of 74-75-72=221 and tied for 30th place. Griffin had three birdies on the final day to bring his total to six during the two-day event.

Senior Emiliano Martinez posted a two-under-par 69 in the final round and finished the event with a 223 (74-80-69), which was good for 40th place. The Laredo native collected five birdies on the day, including four on the front nine in the final round.

UTSA will open its spring season on Feb. 1 at the two-day Arizona Invitational.
