Senior Halee Hamm scored two goals in Friday's win at Northwestern State.
FRISCO — Senior forward Halee Hamm picked up Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading the UTSA women’s soccer team to a pair of conference wins over the weekend.
The Midland native played 37 minutes and netted a pair of goals on her only two shots in Friday's 4-2 win at Northwestern State. She went on to help lead the Roadrunners to a 2-0 win at Central Arkansas on Sunday afternoon, giving the program its first-ever 2-0 start in Southland play.
Hamm is tied for the team lead with four goals and is second on the squad with eight points this fall.
UTSA now has collected four weekly awards this season, as freshman Dacia Webb has been a two-time Goalkeeper of the Week honoree (Sept. 8 & 15) and senior Ezinne Okpo picked up Defensive Player of the Week accolades four weeks ago.
The Birds (7-6) return to action this weekend with a pair of home conference matches against McNeese State and Lamar.
