Final round of Texas A&M "Mo" Morial rained out

BRYAN —  Heavy rains in the Bryan/College Station forced officials to call off the final round of theTexas A&M “Mo” Morial held at the Traditions Golf Club (6,233yards/par 72).

The Roadrunners registered a teamtotal of 307 and finished in fourth place behind Texas A&M (290), Tulane (297), Tulsa (299), and ahead of Oklahoma (309), Southern Miss and Sam Houston State (311), Texas State (322), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (325), Texas-Pan American (335) and Troy (338).

Individually, senior Shelly Martinez and sophomore Shannon Jungman carded 75s to finish in a seven-way tie for eighth place. JuniorMadison McClain led the team with five birdies on the day to post around of 38-39—77 and tied for 17th place. Sophomore Summer Batiste andBruna Spengler both fired an 80 and tied for 33rd.

The first round was suspended due to rain, but was completed Saturday, while the final two rounds were washed out.
