Sophomore Dillard Glass was named to the 19-member Southland Conference Men's Track & Field All-Academic team, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Glass, who maintains a 3.65 grade-point average in mechanical engineering, placed seventh at the SLC Indoor Championships with personal-best clearanceof 15-1 ?/4.61m last February. His two points helped the Roadrunners claim their fourth consecutiveconference title. He also recorded marks at the Leonard Hilton Memorialand Houston Invitational/Multis during the indoor campaign and his top height during outdoor seasonwas 14-5 ?/4.40m at the Rice Twilight.
The Gonzales native is a three-time member of UTSA's President’s List (4.0 gpa) and he was a member of the 2008 SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll as a freshman.
