SAN ANTONIO ? Former Roadrunner Laura Baker made her professional debut on the Duramed Futures Tour this weekend at the Texas Hill Country Classic, which was played at the Dominion Country Club, with a 226 (76-73-77).
The Victoria native qualified for the event back on Feb. 10 at the same golf course. She opened the tournament with a 76 and improved her by three strokes in second-round action for a two-day tally of 149. Baker then shot a 77 on the final day to finish tied for 64th place.
