WACO ? UTSA's doubleheader at No. 17 Baylor, scheduled for 4 p.m. on Tuesday, has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will attempt to play a single tilt at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
UTSA (25-18) will carry a six-game winning streak (seven of eight overall) into the game, which will be the 1,000th in the program's 18-year history. Junior right- hander Ryan Proudfoot (1-0, 6.75 ERA) will get the start for the Roadrunners.
Meanwhile, the Bears (25-17) have dropped a half dozen contests in a row entering the finale of their current five-game home stand. Righty Craig Fritsch (1-5, 7.64) is slated to start for Baylor.
