COLUMBIA, Mo. ? The UTSA men’s golf team is tied for 10th place after shooting a day-one total of 613 (308-305) of the UMB Bank/Mizzou Tigers Classic at The Club at Old Hawthorne (par 72/6,204 yards).
The Roadrunners were led by junior Ryan Kiel, who is tied for 20th place after posting scores of 75 and 74 (149). Meanwhile, senior Kyle Collins trails Kiel by three strokes and is tied for 31st place. Freshman Lewis Chong and junior Emiliano Martinez registered two-round totals of 155 and 157, respectively. Freshman Payne Wilkie ended his day with a 165.
Kansas State leads the team standings with a two-round total of 574. Meanwhile, SMU's Kelly Kraft and K-State's Mitchell Gregson are tied for first place in the individual standings with scorecards of 137.
The final round will be played on Tuesday.
