SAN ANTONIO ? The UTSA men’s tennis team will complete its current three-match road trip in Edinburg on Saturday with an 11 a.m. matchup at Texas-Pan American (1-8, 1-0 SLC).
After starting the season 2-7, the Roadrunners (4-8, 2-0 SLC) have won two of their last three matches. Their only loss during that span was a 4-3 setback at No. 43 TCU last Saturday. Reigning Southland Conference Player of the Week Jorge Delgado went a perfect 4-0 last weekend and he currently is riding a six-match winning streak (doubles & singles combined). His last defeat came on Feb. 20 at No. 2 Texas.
UTSA returns home on Wednesday, March 18, for the first of five consecutive contests in the Alamo City. The Birds will host Western Illinois in a non-conference meeting at 1 p.m. at the UTSA Tennis Center and admission to all home tennis matches is free.
