Roadrunners look to extend current three-match winning streak this weekend

SAN ANTONIO ? The UTSA women’s tennis team will host a pair of home matches this weekend. The Roadrunners will face Central Arkansas at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Northwestern State at 10 a.m. the next day.

UTSA has posted three consecutive shutout victories, two of which came during last weekend's Southland Conference-opening weekend. The white-washings advanced the squad's overall record to 7-4 this spring.

Central Arkansas lost both of its home matches last weekend to UT Arlington and Texas State. The Sugar Bears currently have a 2-6 overall mark and are 0-4 in league play.

Northwestern State, meanwhile, split last weekend’s matches, pushing its ledger to 6-3 (1-1 SLC) this season. The Lady Demons face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi before they play in the Alamo City on Sunday.

Admission is free to all UTSA home matches.
