Women's I-35 rivalry to air on SLC Television Network on Wednesday night

SAN ANTONIO ? The UTSA women's basketball game against Texas State, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, will be televised by the Southland Television Network, the league office announced on Sunday.

The Roadrunners, who sport the league's best overall ledger at 19-8, are coming off a convincing 77-45 win at Lamar on Saturday night to remain tied with UT Arlington atop the West Division standings at 12-2. Texas State carries a 12-14 overall record and at 6-8 in the league, the defending regular season champions have yet to secure a SLC Tournament berth.

Wednesday's game against the Bobcats also will be Senior Night. The Roadrunners will honor Onika Anderson, Andrea Garcia, Monica Gibbs and Ryba Pawlaczyk prior to the 7:05 p.m. tipoff.

The game will be televised in the San Antonio area on Time Warner Cables's Channel 50. Please check local listings for availability in your area.
