UTSA, Clear Channel reach agreement to broadcast men?s basketball games

SAN ANTONIO ? The UTSA Athletics Department announced

Wednesday that it has reached an agreement with Clear Channel

Communications, Inc., to broadcast all 29 regular season and any

postseason men's basketball games on KRPT-FM 92.5 The Outlaw or KTKR-AM Ticket 760.

“We are excited to announce this partnership with

Clear Channel,” Athletics Director Lynn Hickey said. “Having our

games on the radio provides a great opportunity to expand our

visibility within the San Antonio community and beyond. Our university

continues to grow and this relationship with Clear Channel will only

help to strengthen our reach.”

Andy Everett, who hosts The La Cantera Golf Show and

co-hosts The Morning Drive with Peter Burns, will serve as the

Roadrunners’ play-by-play voice, his second year in that role.

All games also will be streamed for free online at goUTSA.com and at the corresponding radio station’s Web site, 925theoutlaw.com or ticket760.com.
