UTSA defeated Mary Hardin-Baylor, 76-58, in its only exhibition game last season. Travis Gabbidon led all players with 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field, while Devin Gibson and Orrin Greer poured in 16 apiece. Gibson added five assists, four rebounds and three steals in a game-high 33 minutes of action. Greer came off the bench to knock down 6-of-9 from the floor and Keith Spencer led all players with 11 rebounds.

Scouting Report: Mary Hardin-Baylor is ranked No. 10 in the D3Hoops.com Preseason Top 25 Poll and is the preseason favorite to defend its American Southwest Conference West Division Championship. UMHB went 26-4 overall and posted a 19-2 mark in ASC play last season. The Cru won their first ASC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III National Championships for the second straight year. Senior wing Tilmon Gaddy was voted ASC West Division Preseason Player of the Year after averaging 14.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last season.
