ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. ? The UTSA men’s golf team turned in a final round 306 to finish in 15th place at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate on Saturday.
The Roadrunners were led by senior Kyle Collins, who turned in rounds of 77-75-77=229 and he finished tied for 57th place. Freshman Payne Wilkie ended the tournament tied for 67th with a two-day total of 232, while freshman Lewis Chong finished two strokes behind at 234.
UNLV came from behind to win the tournament by 11 strokes over host New Mexico.
UTSA is back in action at the Long Beach 49ers Classic on Oct. 16-17.
