SAN ANTONIO ? Senior infielder/outfielder Josh Wilson recently signed a professional contract with the River City Rascals of the Independent Frontier League.
Wilson saw action in 29 games, including 10 starts in 2007, during his two-year Roadrunners career and was 7-for-55 (.127) with a double, one home run and six RBIs.
He is the fourth player from the 2008 Southland Conference Champions to either be drafted or sign a professional contract this summer, joining senior Zach Etheredge (free agent deal with Chicago White Sox) and juniors James Keithley (drafted by Washington Nationals/signed) and Tim Palincsar (drafted by Cleveland Indians).
