SAN ANTONIO - Juniors Allie Jordan and Laura Baker finished second and third, respectively, at the 2008 City Women's Golf Championship, which was held at the Olmos Basin Municipal Golf Course from June 6-8 in San Antonio.
Jordan began the tournament with a 73 and followed that effort with 74 for a two-day total of 147. The Monahans native headed into the final round tied for the lead with Jordan Rhodes. She finished with a 76 and three-round total of 223 to finished runner-up by just three strokes.
Baker, meanwhile, carded a 71 and 78 in the first two rounds and trailed Jordan and Rhodes by two strokes in the individual standings. The Victoria native then fired a final-round 75 to finish in third place with a 224.
