? TheUTSA men’s tennis team dropped a 4-3 heartbreaker at Texas A&M-CorpusChrist in Southland Conference tennis action late Saturday afternoon.

The Roadrunners (6-11, 1-3 SLC) took the early lead 1-0winning two of the three doubles matches.

The Islanders won four the six singles matches en route the4-3 win.

Mikhail Pavlov tied the match for 1-1 with his match 6-2,6-3 victory against junior Andre Moreira at the No. 2 position. Back-to-back winsby sophomore Rodrigo Morgado and freshman Daniel Moreiras pushed the lead 3-1for UTSA. However, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi reeled off three straight winsto clinch the match.

UTSA returns to SLC play with a pair of road matches nextweek at Lamar on April 12 and Southern the following day.
