WICHITA, Kan. ? Sophomore Phillip Hui fired a final-round 71 on Tuesday and finished with a three-round total of 218, which was good for 15th place at this week's Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic.
The Roadrunners turned in a two-day tournament total of 905 (319-292-294) and finished in 14th place in their final tune-up for the 2008 Southland Conference Championships.
Sophomore Simon Merry finished tied for 29th place after carding a 223 (80-70-73). Sophomore Emiliano Martinez shot a final score of 231 and senior Shane Costelloe finished four strokes behind Martinez. Meanwhile, senior Nick Olivarri ended his tournament with a 238 (82-80-76).
UTSA closes out its spring season in two weeks at the SLC Championships, which will be played from April 14-16 at the Gary Plantation Golf Course in Lake Charles, La.
