SAN ANTONIO ? The UTSA women’s tennis team continues its season-long six-match home stand this weekend against Southland Conference foes Lamar on Saturday (9 a.m.) and McNeese State the following morning (10 a.m.) at the UTSA Tennis Center.

The Roadrunners (4-10, 2-3 SLC) are coming off a tough 4-3 loss against New Mexico State last Saturday. Junior Karen Scida leads the team with eight singles wins, including five in row and seven in her last 10 matches overall.

The Lady Cardinals are an impressive 14-1 overall and a perfect 5-0 in conference play. Lamar’s lone defeat came at Rice (5-2) on Jan. 27 in Houston. Meanwhile, the Cowgirls are 5-9 on the season and winless in league action. McNeese is coming off a 6-1 loss at Texas-Pan America last week.
