STOCKTON, Calif. ? The UTSA men’s tennis team collected a 4-3 win at Pacific on Wednesday at the Hal Nelson Tennis Center.
The Roadrunners (4-8) won the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
The two teams then split the six singles matches.
Junior Andre Moreira gave UTSA a 2-0 lead with a 6-1, 6-3 win against Artem Gramma at the No. 3 slot, while freshman Daniel Moreiras pushed the lead to three after defeating Pedro Toledo in straight sets (7-5, 6-0) at No. 6. Senior Adam Becker clinched the match at the No. 4 spot with a come-from-behind 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory.
UTSA continues its West Coast trip on Saturday at St. Mary’s (Calif.).
