SAN ANTONIO ? The UTSA women’s tennis team continues Southland Conference play this weekend at Central Arkansas (Saturday) and Northwestern State (Sunday).
The Roadrunners (3-6, 1-1 SLC) split a pair of league matches last week at the UTSA Tennis Center. UTSA collected its first league win of the year after defeating Nicholls State, 4-3, on March 1. The Roadrunners then dropped a 7-0 decision against Southeastern Louisiana the following day.
The Sugar Bears stand 0-6 on the season and 0-3 in SLC play. UCA fell to UT Arlington, 6-1, on March 1 and Texas State dealt the Sugar Bears a 7-0 defeat in San Marcos on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Lady Demons are 7-4 on the year and a perfect 3-0 in conference action. Northwestern State picked up a pair of wins last week at UTA and Texas State.
