Freshman Daniel Moreiras has picked up UTSA's lone point of the weekend.

LINCOLN, Neb. ? The UTSA men’s tennis team fell 7-0 to No. 50 Drake on Saturday at the Nebraska Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs (5-0) opened the day by winning all three doubles matches for the early 1-0 lead against the Roadrunners (1-5).

Drake then swept all the singles matches in straight sets.

The Bulldogs increased their lead 2-0 when Guilherme Marsiglia won his match at the No. 6 slot over junior Andre Moreira, who retired in the second set. Meanwhile, Maor Zirkin gave Drake a 3-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-2 victory against sophomore Rodrigo Morgado at No. 2. Ricardo Lau clinched the match for the Bulldogs after handing senior Adam Becker a 6-3, 6-3 loss at the No. 3 position.

UTSA fell 6-1 at Nebraska late Friday night. The Cornhuskers collected the doubles points by winning all three matches. Nebraska then won five of the six singles matches. Freshman Daniel Moreiras was the lone Roadrunner to collect a win when he defeated Karl Jones 3-6, 6-4 and 12-10 in the tiebreaker at the No. 6 slot.

UTSA concludes the three-match road trip on Sunday morning against DePaul.
