LOS ANGELES, Calif. ? The UTSA women’s tennis fell 6-1 at No. 69 Loyola Marymount on Sunday afternoon at the LMU Tennis Center.

The Lions (1-7) won two of three double matches for the early 1-0 lead over the Roadrunners (2-5).

LMU then won five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Bliss Nixon and Jasmin Heckel increased the Lions' lead to 3-0 when they came off the court at the No. 6 and No. 4 slots, respectively. Meanwhile, Tina Razloznik clinched the match for Loyola Marymount after dealing junior Monika Drabkova a 6-2, 6-3 loss at the No. 3 position. Sophomore Holly Phillips won her singles match at No. 6 when Audrey Bulkley retired from the match following the second stanza..

UTSA is back in action in two weeks when it opens Southland Conference play against Nicholls State and Southeastern Louisiana on March 1 and 2, respectively, at the UTSA Tennis Center.
