DePaul gets past UTSA, 6-1, on Sunday

LINCOLN, Neb. ? The UTSA men’s tennis team was handed a 6-1 loss by DePaul on Sunday morning at the Nebraska Tennis Center.

The Blue Demons (6-4) grabbed the early 1-0 lead by sweeping all three double matches against the Roadrunners (1-6).

In singles action, DePaul won five of the six matches. The Blue Demons upped their lead to 2-0 via default at the No. 6 position, while Alasdair Graetz and Vanja Grgec sealed the match with wins at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Senior Adam Becker was the lone Roadrunner to collect a win, as he defeated Bartosz Jozwiak 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 4 slot.

UTSA returns to San Antonio for an 11 a.m. match against Prairie View A&M on Saturday, Feb. 23.
